ADELOVE FOOTBALL COMPETITION 2024: ROUND OF 16 KICKS OFF TOMORROW

 The AdeLOVE Football Competition 2024 continues to captivate fans as the tournament proceeds to the highly anticipated Round of 16. After a competitive group stage, the teams are now set to battle it out in the knockout phase, starting tomorrow.  In the final match of the group stage, INTELLIGENT FC secured a narrow 2-1 victory over 244 Stars FC, cementing their place in the next stage. However, the standout performance from the group stage came from MATTAWALI FC of Ilesha Ìbàrùbá, the only team to win all their group matches in dominant fashion.  As the knockout stage begins, MATTAWALI FC will face a tough test against the formidable Igbooro United in the opening match tomorrow. Fans are eager to see if MATTAWALI FC can maintain their unbeaten streak or if Igbooro United will rise to the occasion and deliver an upset.   The Round of 16 promises intense action as the competition heats up.  The  final of the SAKI YOUTH SOCCER BODY U-13 Competition took place on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the ADS HIGH SCHOOL PITCH, and it was a spectacle to remember. Mighty Stars Football Academy emerged victorious, defeating Saki Pride Football Academy in an electrifying encounter that showcased the future of Saki football.   The final kicked off to an energetic start, with both teams displaying incredible talent and determination. Saki Pride dominated possession in the early stages, with their forwards threatening Mighty Stars’ defense. However, Mighty Stars held their ground, relying on their well-organized backline and brilliant goalkeeping.   The entire competition was proudly sponsored by Lalimo, whose support ensured a successful tournament that brought together young footballers and fostered unity in the Saki community.
